Participants will use science and engineering practices to model the Earth's surface processes. Understanding the slow changes to the Earth's surface caused by weathering, erosion and deposition can be learned best through modeling of the processes. This elementary workshop provides participants with models demonstrating cause and effect of weathering, erosion and deposition, which aligns with Grade 4 Standard 3. Earth and Space Science Grade Level Expectations.
