Most high school graduates are not aware of the native flora and native pollinators, or the larger role of conservation biology. Even if teachers are qualified to teach these subjects, they do not have the resources they need. The Colorado Native Plant Society wants to assist teachers in strengthening the teaching of botany throughout Colorado. Therefore, teachers will learn about native plants and be given tools to teach about the subjects.
