With limited access to a 3D printer but having administrators wanting to see it used more with students, I was inspired to empower students to develop a plan for a 3D model. It turned out to be an enrichment lesson that was supremely engaging for every student. I will share the project plan, rubric, tools we used, and student samples with you. Then you'll have the gift of time to figure out how to apply this technique to your curriculum and explore free online programs for 3D printing.
