It really is just a simple outdoor activity that can be done at any age/grade level with any disciplinary core idea. I'll take you through the process as if you were a student. You'll be doing a "Solo," as in working by oneself to observe nature around you. Then together, we'll generate ideas as to how going outside to observe nature and using this technique can launch a deeper study for your class. Additionally, observing and connecting to nature has an added benefit for your students.
