This session will describe part of an NSF-funded effort to use Peer Instruction (PI) in high school biology classrooms. PI is, an active learning strategy that utilizes conceptual multiple choice questions called ConcepTests (Mazur, 1997). This presentation will demonstrate PI and describe how biology teachers can integrate ConcepTests into existing curricula.
